With the purpose of discussing higher pharmaceutical education reform and development strategy, sharing experiences in clinical pharmacy education and practice models and solving obstacles in starting and implementing clinical pharmacy education, the “2012 ASIAN PHARMACY DEANS’ FORUM” was conducted by the ASIAN ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS OF PHARMACY in Nanjing, China from June 4-5, 2012.

The theme of this two-day forum was “Advances and Challenges in Clinical Pharmacy Education in Asia”

We had invited experts to give presentations on advances and obstacles of clinical pharmacy education in China, America, Japan, Thailand and other countries. Secondly, this forum aimed to discuss the development direction of clinical pharmacy education and international collaboration strategies among Deans and faculty members of pharmacy schools.
